My Latest Pattern for Timeless Treasures!

As you know, I work with several fabric companies and often design quilt patterns for upcoming fabric collections. I recently created Serenity’s Prayer for Timeless Treasures.

Serenity’s Prayer was created for the Serenity fabric collection.

The design is simple yet striking and utilizes a panel for a quick finish.

You can download the pattern for Serenity’s Prayer here. The Serenity fabric collection is in stores now.

By the way…

I released a new pattern for Island Batik on Saturday—Broken Road. Take advantage of the 20% discount on Broken Road that I’m currently offering in my shop from now until Saturday, July 20th at midnight EST.

If you make Serenity’s Prayer or any other quilt pattern of mine, I'd love to see it!

My Latest Pattern for Island Batik!

I’m an Island Batik Ambassador and I often create patterns for their latest batik collections. Recently I created a new pattern I call Broken Road for the Petal Pushers Island Batik Spring/Summer 2019 collection.

You can view Broken Road and (two other quilt patterns I designed for the Spring/Summer 2019 collection) in the online Island Batik Spring/Summer catalog. My other patterns in the catalog are in testing and will be released soon.

You will find the Petal Pushers fabric collection in your local quilt shop in the fall.

Broken Road finishes at 60" x 72". I love the pinky purples and the bright greens in this collection and how they pop against that creamy yellow background that’s also part of the Petal Pushers collection.

I had Broken Road quilted with an all over pattern of swirls and circles. Just wonderful!

For the backing,Island Batik sent #121821875 from the Bazaar Winter 2018 collection. I think it’s a nice compliment to the colors used on the front of the quilt. It’s also designed by Kathy Engle, who designed Petal Pushers.

I made a version of Broken Road last year for the April Island Batik challenge, which was to create a modern design based on vintage quilts. My design was inspired by the classic Road to Oklahoma quilt block.

As you know, I went to Spring Market where I took photos of my three quilts displayed in the Island Batik booth. Here I am with Broken Road.
