Timeless Treasures

Celebrating National Quilting Day with a New Pattern for Timeless Treasures!

Happy National Quilting Day and Worldwide Quilting Day! I hope you’re in your sewing room, quilting up a storm! If you don’t have anything to make, I offer this easy pattern.

I designed my latest pattern for Timeless Treasures and it’s called “True Patriot.” True Patriot is designed to use the fabrics from the Tonga Patriot batik collection, which is in stores now.

True Patriot finishes at 52-1/2" x 68-1/2" and would make a great Quilt of Valor. It would also be an awesome quilt for your own American hero, or as a welcome banner to your home.

The pattern is a free download that you'll find here, on my free downloadable quilt patterns page.

If you make True Patriot or any other quilt pattern of mine, I'd love to see it!

I have a weekly linkup that's just perfect for sharing your works in progress and quilt finishes. Drop by any Wednesday to share what you're working on in my Wednesday Wait Loss.

Happy National Quilting Day and Worldwide Quilting Day!

My New Pattern for Timeless Treasures!

I'm very happy to announce my new pattern for Timeless Treasures called “Happy Place.” Happy Place is designed to use the fabrics and a panel from the Beach is My Happy Place collection, which is in stores now.

Happy Place finishes at 48-1/2" x 54-1/2". I can just imagine it being used to decorate a beach or lake cottage. or to keep warm after the sun goes down.

I had a lot of fun with this, maybe because the beach is definitely a happy place for me!

My New Pattern for Timeless Treasures!

I'm very happy to announce my new pattern for Timeless Treasures! Cobbles is designed for the Little Star fabric collection by Timeless Treasures, which is in stores now.

Take Flight finishes at 42-1/2" x 51" and it would make a perfect baby quilt. Aren't those fabrics sweet? I just love that little bunny and its mom.

The pattern is a free download that you'll find on my free downloadable patterns page. I guarantee that this one is quick!

Thank goodness it’s quick, because I made Cobbles in short order for display in the Timeless Treasures booth at Spring Market 2018. Here it is in their booth, on the left. Isn’t that display adorable? I wish I could have gone to Seattle to see it, but this photo is the next best thing.

Here’s their entire booth, left and right. You can see Cobbles there on the far right.

For quilting, I quilted in the ditch along the borders that frame the fussy cuts from the panel. In the alternating squares, I quilted a moon and stars. What else?

For the outer border, I stitched in the ditch around each of the little bunnies, with an occasional loop de loop in-between.

Here are the quilt details:
