Quilting Treasures

My New Pattern for Quilting Treasures!

I'm excited to announce my new pattern for Quilting Treasures! As you probably know, I work closely with several fabric companies, designing patterns to feature their newest fabric collections. Purrfect Paws is designed for the Purr-suasion fabric collection by Quilting Treasures.

Purrfect Paws finishes at 58" x 78" and just purrfect for those cat lovers in your life! There's even a pillow pattern that finishes at 24" square!

You can purchase Purrfect Paws in my store. Take advantage of my new pattern debut and receive 20% off Purrfect Paws with the code NEWPAT18. Hurry! The code expires August 5th.

Wait! There's more!

I've released several other new patterns recently, and so I decided to offer the NEWPAT18 discount  (20% off) to all of them as well! These new patterns include Bear Mountain, Picnic Under the Stars, and Berry Picnic. Take advantage of this discount while it lasts (discount available until midnight August 5th).

Wednesday Wait Loss 32 and a New Quilt Pattern Featuring Quilting Treasures

Welcome to Wednesday Wait Loss!

Great news! My computer is mostly up and running. Just little things to fix right now, like why my graphics editor will suddenly quit and lose my work. And why one monitor will suddenly shut off while I'm using it, moving everything to the other screen. Believe me, these things are little compared to what my computer was doing. Ugh.

Technology. I have a love-hate thing with it.

So you might remember that last week I showed you this--my mess of a block.

Well, I recut the pieces (the right size this time) and finally got the block done! I want to wait to show you the final block though until I can write up a blog post explaining my choices for this block.

What I can show you now is my new pattern!

This pattern uses a panel and fabrics from the Good Friends collection by Quilting Treasures. Isn't it adorable? I love Peanuts and had a blast designing a quilt pattern for this collection. The pattern is now available in my shop, and the fabric is in quilt stores now.

As it so happens, I'm currently having a 20% off sale on all patterns in my shop. I had the sale to celebrate the release of my block in the I Wish You a Merry Quilt Along. The sale lasts until the end of this month. Use the code MerryQAL20 at checkout to get the discount.

On the quilt along front, we released Block 5 (Snowman) yesterday. Isn't he cute? Click here to view my version and to learn where to download the pattern. There's a giveaway you can enter just for making the block, so don't miss it!

Here's the blog hop schedule. Every day, there is a new Island Batik collection being featured. Each Island Batik Ambassador is having a giveaway, and so is Island Batik! Visit each Ambassador's blog to view wonderful projects featuring the fabric collection of the day, and then enter their giveaway! My day is next week so don't forget to come back!

Now that you know what I've been doing, let's see what you're up to! First though, it's time for our weekly feature!

Wednesday Wait Loss

This week I want to feature Mary, a faithful contributor to Wednesday Wait Loss. Last week Mary linked up her crazy quilt and declared that it might not be finished just yet because she had some stones that would look perfect on it. If you knew Mary, you would know that she's not only a talented quilt artist, she's also quite capable of sewing through stone. <grin> Mary also linked up a new quilt that looks like a starburst.

Congratulations Mary! Here is an “I Was Featured” button you can print out.

It's almost time to link up! But first, let me announce the winner of the $25 gift certificate from Always in Stitches. Remember, you can use this gift certificate online or in person.

I assigned a number to each entry, then let Random.org do its thing and select the winner. And the winner is....

Patti! Congratulations! Your digital gift certificate is on its way.

Time to link up your WIPs and recent finishes! If you need help linking up, click here for detailed steps. If you run into difficulties, just email me your link.

Here are some quick reminders:

  • This linky is all about encouragement, so please visit a few of the links and leave a comment.
  • If you’re uploading a photo from your phone/computer, leave a comment below that explains your project. And for the rest of us, please reply to a few of these comments leaving words of encouragement for a quick finish.
  • Please link back to my post somewhere in your blog post or use @inquiringquilter and #wedwaitloss to tag me in your Instagram/Flickr post.
  • If you link a photo from Facebook, please mention @InquiringQuilter and my Wednesday Wait Loss.

New Quilt Patterns Featuring Quilting Treasures

As usual, I've been working hard, designing new patterns for you! I just released three new patterns featuring collections from Quilting Treasures and I thought I'd share them with you.

First up is Glory on the Gridiron, which features the Gridiron collection by Quilting Treasures.

Glory on the Gridiron features two fabric panels so it's quick to make. The whole alphabet is included as templates, so you can customize this quilt to commemorate your favorite team. Wouldn't this quilt make a great gift for your favorite sports fan? It finishes 60" x 68" and utilizes fusible applique techniques so it's beginner-friendly. You'll find Glory in the Gridiron and the other patterns in this post in my shop.

My next pattern is called Floral Fan, and it features the Delaney collection by Quilting Treasures.

The quilt pattern includes two colorways, so you can make the version of Floral Fan you like best, or make both! <grin> The quilt finishes at 55" x 65", so it makes a nice lap quilt.

My last pattern, Awesome Wonder, features another panel--this time from the How Great Thou Art collection by Quilting Treasures.

The pattern includes two border options--with or without applique. It finishes at either 32" x 60" or 32" x 56", depending on which border you choose. Wouldn't this make the perfect quilt for a church sanctuary?

You'll find these three patterns and more in my online shop. If you make Glory on the Gridiron, Floral Fan, or Awesome Wonder (or any of my quilt patterns) I'd love to see it! Be sure to link up to Wednesday Wait Loss so we can all enjoy.

All of these fabric collections are in stores now!
