Welcome to Wednesday Wait Loss. Please share what you’ve been working on!
First let me tell you what I've been up to
On Saturday I shared my new quilt, made for the August Island Batik Ambassador challenge. The challenge was to make a star quilt, and I made Starburst. Click here to read all about it.
On Monday I published a recap of my August goals. How did I do? Click here to find out and to leave an encouraging comment for this month’s goals which I’ll publish on Friday.
Well that was my week!
Now let's see who made this week's feature
As usual, several quilt projects caught my eye.
First up is Yvonne @ Sew Yummy who shared this awesome quilt! I have to say that I really enjoyed her post because Yvonne shared the creation process for this quilt—the problems she encountered and the way she solved them. Click here to read all about it.
Next up is Karen @ Quilts Etc who shared a photo tutorial for hexies. If you’ve ever considered making a hexie quilt, this post is a must-read!
Next is Alison @ Little Bunny Quilts who shared the projects she made recently at a quilt retreat. Here are a few…visit Alison’s blog to see more!
Finally, here is the latest creation from Laura @ Slice of Pi Quilts. Isn’t it wonderful? So is her clever process for making it. Click over to Laura’s blog to read all about High Tide.
Congratulations ladies! Here's an I Was Featured badge for your blogs or to simply print out and wear with pride! Thank you for supporting my blog!

I’m Having a Giveaway!
It’s September, so it’s time to gather up your quilts for our September giveaway! Since September is the month most kids return to school, let’s focus on learning. What I’ll be looking for is a quilted project that features some kind of technique that’s new to you, much like my Island Batik June challenge was to me. So for two chances you’ll need to link up your project and leave something in the comments or on your blog post that explains what the technique was and what you learned from trying it.
Dig through your quilts and prepare your stories. Or if you’re so inclined, select something new and try it! We’d love to share in your quilting journey.
Don’t have any new technique to showcase? You can also get two chances by linking up any school related quilt or quilt project. Just leave a comment or link to a blog post that explains why your quilty project is school or learning related.
As usual, if you don’t have a quilt project that fits the theme, you can still link any quilt project for one chance to win. What might you win? This time it’s a mini charm pack (22 five inch squares) of Island Batiks cut from my scraps.
Disclaimer: No purchase necessary to win. Giveaway is open to legal residents in the contiguous US only that are 18+ years of age. Giveaway starts at 7:00am EST September 4th and ends at 11:59pm EST on September10th. One winner will receive one mini charm pack of Island Batiks with a total value of approximately $10. Odds of winning determined by number of eligible entries received. How to enter: link up a photo of a quilty project to the linky below. Winner will be chosen by random.org on September 11, 2019 from all eligible entries and notified by email. If winner can not be reached via email or prize is unclaimed after three days, a new winner will be chosen by random.org. Winner is responsible for paying any taxes related to the prize. By entering this giveaway, you release Inquiring Quilter from any liability whatsoever. Void where prohibited by law.
