Welcome to Wednesday Wait Loss. Please share what you’ve been working on!
First let me tell you what I've been up to
On Saturday I shared my goals for September, and it’s a long list as usual. Click here to read all about it and to leave a word of encouragement!
Yesterday the Partners in Design announced the winner of our Segment 3 QAL giveaway! Here’s just one of the prizes—a fat quarter collection from Timeless Treasures!

Well that was my week!
Now let's see who made this week's feature
Last week, I encouraged you to link up quilts that represented a new technique. I also encouraged any quilts related to school. There were many quilts linked up—here are my favorites.
First up is Michelle @ My Bijou Life who linked up this lovely project—Elephants by Edyta Sitar. Turns out this will be Michelle’s first quilt. Talk about learning a new technique!
Next up is Susie, who linked up her first two blocks from Capi’s Cake Mix Club. The blocks use a technique for making HSTs that’s new to Susie. Way to go Susie—these look great!
Next is Marsha @ Marsha’s Spot, who shared several projects, including sitting mats she’s making for a friend who’s a teacher. Way to go Marsha!
Finally, Celine @ Esprit Patch shared her latest Dear Jane blocks. To me, Dear Jane represents learning, learning, learning, like this block below which is called Cyclone.
Congratulations ladies! Here's an I Was Featured badge for your blogs or to simply print out and wear with pride! Thank you for supporting my blog!
I’m not sure how to link up

As you know, I use InLinkz to run my weekly Wednesday Wait Loss linky party. To link up, you’ll need to sign in using Facebook or Google+ or create a username/password for InLinkz.
I’d really hate to lose you over this change because we have such a great weekly group! If needed, you can send me your images via email and I’ll add them manually.

So Who Won the Giveaway?
The linkup this time was focused on learning. I gave two chances to any quilt that fit the theme, and one chance to any other quilt project that was linked up. Up for grabs is this 22 piece charm pack (five inch squares) of Island Batiks cut from my scraps.
I tracked the entries and let Random.org choose a random winner.
Congratulations Kat Scribner! Click here to send me your postal address and I ship your prize right out to you! You’ve got three days to claim your prize before I’ll be forced to select another winner.
Disclaimer: The giveaway is closed.
No purchase was necessary to win. Giveaway was open to legal residents in the contiguous US only that are 18+ years of age. The winner will receive one 22 piece charm pack of Island Batiks with a total value of approximately $10. Odds of winning was determined by number of eligible entries received.
