Wednesday Wait Loss 133

Welcome to Wednesday Wait Loss. Please share what you’ve been working on!

First let me tell you what I've been up to

On Sunday I shared a new pattern with you! Facets features the Tonga Batiks Passport collection, which is in stores now.

Click here to read more about it and to learn where you can download the free pattern! If you’re looking for a fast quilt, this is it!

On Monday I published this week’s schedule for the Island Batik Beat the Heat Blog Hop which is continuing all month long. There are awesome giveaways and gorgeous batiks so don’t miss out! You might win this week’s precut batik collection which is from Quiet Shades, or one of the other giveaways. Be sure to visit each participant’s blog to enter!

Well that was my week!

Now let's see who made this week's feature

As usual, several quilt projects caught my eye.

Up first is Chris @ Chris Knits Sews, who shared Fanny the Flamingo. Isn’t she wonderful?

Next is Vicki @ Vicki’s Crafts and Quilting, who created these beauties with her new 10 degree ruler.

Nancy @ Grace and Peace Quilting shared the quilts she entered in her local county fair in two posts…here and here. Talk about ribbon winners!

Be sure to visit Nancy to see the rest of her county fair entries. You won’t be disappointed!

Becca @ Pretty Piney shared a project she made from New York Beauties & Flying Geese book. Love this!

Finally, I’d like to welcome Andrea @ Mouse in My Pocket to our Wednesday Wait Loss community. Hi Andrea!

Andrea shared quilts she made for her adorable daughter Mildred, and Mildred’s best friend Foxy. Too cute!

Let’s all make Andrea welcome by dropping by her blog and leaving a comment.

Congratulations ladies! Here's an I Was Featured badge for your blogs or to simply print out and wear with pride! Thank you for supporting my blog!

Our Next Giveaway!

Our next giveaway is September, so gather up your quilts! Since September is the month most kids return to school, let’s focus on learning. What I’ll be looking for is a quilted project that features some kind of technique that’s new to you, much like my Island Batik June challenge was to me. So for two chances you’ll need to link up your project and leave something in the comments or on your blog post that explains what the technique was and what you learned from trying it.

So dig through your quilts and prepare your stories. Or if you’re so inclined, select something new and try it! We’d love to share in your quilting journey.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!
