Wednesday Wait Loss 109

Welcome to Wednesday Wait Loss. Please share what you’ve been working on!

First let me tell you what I've been up to

Last week I finished my February Island Batik challenge! The challenge was to make a mini quilt, and I made one using pink and red Island Batiks from my stash. I’m calling my design Hugs and Kisses, and you can read all about it here.

On Monday I told you about a project I’ve been working on—a quilt for my daughter who’s graduating college this year! Jump over here and cheer me on!

Well, that was my week!

Now let's see who made this week's feature

First up is Melva @ Melva Loves Scraps, who just finished Block 3 of the Adventure Quilt QAL. Melva always relates a story of how her version of the block relates to her life and this story is an inspirational one. Don’t miss it!

Next up is Deanna @ For the Love of Geese, who shared the story of how her Drunkard’s Path quilt came to be finished after 23 years. Lovely quilt, lovely story!

I really like it when you link up quilts you were inspired to finally finish! My hope is that Wednesday Wait Loss and our group helped support you.

Karrin Hurd @ Karri’ns Crazy World linked up a block she made for the Mystery Fabric QAL, a quilt along of friends. I have to say the idea fascinates me and I might have to give it a try.

Next, Anja @ Anja Quilts linked up two quilt finishes! Way to go Anja!

Finally, I’d like to introduce you to Stacey @ The Farmhouse in the Field, who is new to our little group. Please give her a warm Wednesday Wait Loss welcome by leaving a comment on her blog.

Stacey linked up three blocks from the Peppermint Lane BOM. Click the photo to jump to her blog post to learn more about that block and to leave a comment.

Congratulations ladies! Here's an I Was Featured badge for your blogs or to simply print out and wear with pride! Thank you for supporting my blog!
