Welcome to Wednesday Wait Loss. Please share what you’ve been working on!
First let me tell you what I've been up to
On Saturday, I recapped my February goals. Turns out I did pretty good! You can read about them here.
On Monday I published my March goals. Will I do as well? Click here to see my goals.
Yesterday I posted my tips for Block 1 in the Sew Let’s QAL. You don’t have to make a whole quilt this time in order to enter our giveaways! See the block, learn the rules, and view my tips for making the block by clicking here.
Well, that was my week!
Now let's see who made this week's feature
First up is Cherie @ Cherie’s Quilting Journey, who shared the ruler work quilting she’s doing on her Nostalgia Twist quilt. Ruler work is high on my list of techniques I want to try, so I really enjoyed her post.
Next up is Nancy @ Grace and Peace Quilting, who shared her Valentine’s mug rug. I simply love the rickrack on this!
Just in time for Pi Day, Laura @ Slice of Pi Quilts shared her quilt from the Text It! blog hop. She’s having a giveaway so you might want to drop by her blog!
As you know, I’m one of the designers in the Partners in Design, and we’re having a quilt along! It just started and I’ll hope you’ll join us. Last week, Bobbi @ Snowy Days Quilting shared her fabric pull. Aren’t they lovely? There Island Batiks! <grin>
If you want to learn more about the hop, a link to my post is above.
Finally, I’d like to introduce you to Alison @ Little Bunny Quilts, who is new to our little group. Please welcome her to Wednesday Wait Loss by leaving a comment on her blog.
Alison shared her Island Batik challenge quilt inspiration and fabric pull. As you know, the challenge this month is to make a new quilt inspired by a vintage design. Alison’s inspiration is a quilt she saw at Gettysburg! I really love it.
Congratulations ladies! Here's an I Was Featured badge for your blogs or to simply print out and wear with pride! Thank you for supporting my blog!
I’m not sure how to link up
Need help? Click the Wednesday Wait Loss tab above to get step by step instructions on what to do. You can link up a blog post, a photo from Flickr, Instagram, or Facebook, or a photo direct from your cell phone provided it is low resolution.
Time to link up!
Now it’s your turn to link up your works in progress and recently completed quilts! Here are some quick reminders about the linky party:
By linking up, you give me permission to grab a photo or two to share here on Wednesday Wait Loss.
This linky is all about encouragement, so please visit a few of the links and leave a comment.
If you’re uploading a photo from your phone/computer, leave a comment below that explains your project. And for the rest of us, please reply to a few of these comments leaving words of encouragement for a quick finish.
Please link back to my post somewhere in your blog post or use @inquiringquilter and #wedwaitloss to tag me in your Instagram/Flickr post.
If you link a photo from Facebook, please mention @InquiringQuilter and my Wednesday Wait Loss.
I appreciate you!
As you know, I use InLinkz to run my weekly Wednesday Wait Loss linky party. To link up, you’ll need to sign in using Facebook or Google+ or create a username/password for InLinkz.
I’d really hate to lose you over this change because we have such a great weekly group! If needed, you can send me your images via email and I’ll add them manually.
If you would like to link up a photo from your phone or computer, you need to enter an URL or InLinkz will not let you proceed. Use this URL
I’m Irish and it’s almost St. Patrick’s Day, so let’s celebrate with a giveaway! For every link up you do, you’ll get one chance to win a green scrap bundle of fabrics. For every quilt project you link up that has green in it, you’ll get two chances! I’ll announce the winner next week on Wednesday Wait Loss.
Fabric giveaway is open to US residents only due to postal costs. If you win and you don’t live in the US, I’ll let you chose a free PDF pattern from my store. I want us all to play!
By the way, you can link up old projects too, completed or not. Let’s go green!
