Welcome to Wednesday Wait Loss. Please share what you’ve been working on!
First let me tell you what I've been up to
On Saturday, I shared the fabrics I’m using for my Island Batik Magnificent Mini challenge. I also shared my Valentine’s Day quilt collection. Hop over here to take a look.
On Monday, I announced a new pattern! It’s called Belfast Market and it features the Flea Market batik collection from Island Batik, in stores now. Skip over here to see more photos and to read all about the other version! Belfast Market is in my pattern store if you’d like to make a version for yourself.
I also made more progress on my January Island Batik challenge quilt, and hope to cut the fabrics for my February challenge quilt and get to sewing it up.
So that was my week.
Now let's see who made this week's feature
First up is Deanna @ For the Love of Geese, who shared her February Island Batik mini challenge quilt and some great tips for paper-piecing!
Next up is Melva @ Melva Loves Scraps who took the opportunity to reflect on life’s “mile markers” after sharing the Mile Marker blocks from her Road Trip quilt. I’ve had some mile markers in my life lately, some happy some not so much so. This post made me reflect.
We had a few newbies join our little group last week. Let’s give them lots of Wednesday Wait Loss love! Visit their blogs and leave a comment. We bloggers really appreciate it when you take the time to do that.
First up is Kat @ Scrapbox Quilts, who shared this wonderful charity quilt! Can’t wait to see what else she shares in the weeks to come!
Our second newbie to Wednesday Wait Loss is Allison @ Every New Morning Patchwork & Quilting. Allison shared the blocks from her Trip Around the World quilt, and a neat tip for making them quickly! Be sure to welcome both of these gals to our little Wednesday Wait Loss group with comments and lots of love!
Nancy @ Grace and Peace Quilting shared her birthday quilt, which is filled with Tula Pink prints! Isn’t it lovely?
Nancy also shared her recent loss. Nancy, you and your family are in my prayers.
Frederique @ Quilting Patchwork Applique shared photos of her new sewing machine! Don’t you love a new sewing machine?
Finally, Gail @ Quilting Gail shared a quilt finally finished after twenty five years! The story of this quilt is very interesting, so drop by and read all about it.
Congratulations ladies! Here's an I Was Featured badge for your blogs or to simply print out and wear with pride! Thank you for supporting my blog!
