Welcome to Wednesday Wait Loss. I can’t wait to see what you’ve been working on!
First let me tell you what I've been up to
The Island Batik Getaway Blog Hop continues all month, and my day was last week. All of the Island Batik Ambassadors are having a giveaway, and so is Island Batik! Click here to see this week’s list of participating Ambassadors.
My giveaway ended Monday. Up for grabs was a charm pack of my featured fabric, Fortune Teller! Every week day this month, two or more Island Batik Ambassadors are showing off a quilt made from that day’s featured batik collection. Be sure to visit each Ambassador to see what fabrics they are featuring and to enter their giveaways.
I used Rafflecopter to track the entries for my giveaway. Rafflecopter also takes care of selecting the winner.
Congratulations Virg D! I’ve already emailed you and as soon as I can I’ll send off your charm pack.
So that was my week.
Now let's see who made this week's feature
Two people linked up their Temperature quilts last week and I have to say I’m starting to think I need to do one too! With a temperature quilt, you record the temperature daily, then record the fabric you’ve assigned to that temperature range. As you have time, you sew the fabrics together.
Jen @ Jen de Jong is taking it further, recording not only the daily temperature, but also how her day went. Jen suffers from a traumatic brain injury so some days are better than others. Not surprisingly, the best days are when she can quilt! Here’s how her days look so far.
Anja @ Anja Quilts is also making a Temperature quilt this year. Her quilt will be made of hexies. Here are her fabric choices. Aren’t they wonderful?
I can’t decide which color way I like best…Anja’s or Jen’s. I just know they’ll both made awesome quilts!
Congratulations ladies! Here's an I Was Featured badge for your blogs or to simply print out and wear with pride! Thank you for supporting my blog!
If any of you are also thinking about making a Temperature quilt this year, I’d sure like to see it! Be sure to link it up!
I’m not sure how to link up
