Welcome to Wednesday Wait Loss. I can’t wait to see what you’ve been working on!
First let me tell you what I've been up to
The Island Batik Getaway Blog Hop continues all month, and my day was Monday. I did not get my top done but I did get a post up. I hope you’ll follow my progress as I complete the quilt this month. Click here to read my post and to enter my giveaway.
Island Batik is also having a giveaway, as are all the other Island Batik Ambassadors. So don’t miss this one!
I finished my December Island Batik Challenge quilt but I haven’t found the time to photograph and document it, but I will soon.
So that was my week.
Now let's see who made this week's feature
First up is Frederique @ Quilting Patchwork Applique, who’s new to our little group. Frederique linked up a list of free Quilt Alongs and Sew Alongs for 2019. I loved learning about the French language quilt alongs she listed, along with English language ones. I hope she’ll add mine once the Partners in Design announce it!
Frederique also linked up a post about House Blocks for California, which benefits the quilting victims of the California fires. Pretty cool to think that quilters in France are donating blocks, along with Americans. Go check out her post to learn more.
Next is Lisa Marie, who linked up a beautiful crocus quilt. Crocus are so hopeful after a long dark winter. Right now I could use some hope so her link up was timely.
Finally, I was really inspired by a post that Jen @ De Jong Dream House linked up. This year she’ll build a Temperature quilt by charting not only the literal temperature each day, but her emotional temperature as well. I can really relate to the ups and downs of emotional temperatures right now so I found her post very meaningful to me and perhaps you will too.
Congratulations ladies! Here's an I Was Featured badge for your blogs or to simply print out and wear with pride! Thank you for supporting my blog!
I’m not sure how to link up
