Wednesday Wait Loss 68

Welcome to Wednesday Wait Loss! Please share your quilty works in progress and recent finishes with us!

No surprise, I spent the week with secret sewing. The good news is I've almost got the top done. The bad news is I've got another quilt to make right behind this one.

Here's a sneak peek. <grin>

I'm also working on Block 2 in our fall mystery quilt along, Fall Into a QAL. If you missed the first block release, there's still time to make the block and enter our prize giveaway. Click here to learn more.

Block 1 of the Fall into QAL

That's what I've been up to this week.! Let's see who made this week's feature.

As you know, last week's Wednesday Wait Loss was a special one for basket quilts. Chris @ Chris Knits Sews shared several lovely basket quilts with us. First, Chris shared Grandma's Sewing Basket. Chris wasn't sure if she wanted to add handles, but I'm so glad she did! Don't they add that perfect touch?

Chris also shared her Berry Basket Mini. Love the fabrics in this collection!

Congratulations Chris! Thank you so much for sharing your basket quilts with us.

This week I want to also feature a new addition to our little Wednesday Wait Loss group--Zafira @ Zarkadia Quilts shared her Rotating Orange Peels quilt, and a recipe for rescuing quilts when they bleed!

Jump over to their blogs to see the lovely quilts and to read more about them.

Here's an I Was Featured badge for your blogs.

Now it's time to announce our giveaway winner. As usual, I assigned a number to each image linked up last week. Basket entries got two chances. I used Random.org to select a winner.

Congratulations Lisa Marie! Send me your postal address, and this lovely Stash Builder Roll from Island Batik will be on its way!

If you didn't win this time, I encourage you to enter next time. Our next special Wednesday Wait Loss link up is June 20th, and we'll be celebrating with flower quilts! Get those flower quilts ready now for a chance to win.
