Wednesday Wait Loss 67

Welcome to Wednesday Wait Loss! I invite you to share your quilty works in progress and recent finishes with us. This week is a special Wednesday Wait Loss, but more on that later. First, let me tell you what I've been up to.

Basically, it's more secret sewing for me. I've finished the cutting for the two quilts I'm making and I've starting making a bazillion flying geese it seems, for the first of the two quilts that are destined for an Island Batik trunk show.

I also made the first block in our fall mystery quilt along, Fall Into a QAL. Did you miss the first block release? Don't worry--there's still time to make the block and enter our prize giveaway. Click here to learn more.

I also spent all day on Sunday being pampered by my lovely daughter. We went downtown and walked along the canal, then drove to a small village near us to get ice cream. After that, we went home where I relaxed while Katie made me a scrumptious dinner and a delicious lemon tart. Isn't is gorgeous?

That's what I've been up to this week.! Let's see who made this week's feature.

This week I want to feature Dione @ Clever Chameleon Quilting. Her Shadows of Auntie Green quilt is stunning! You must jump over to her blog and read how she made it.

Congratulations Dione! Thank you so much for sharing your quilt with us.  Here's an I Was Featured badge for your blog.

Time to link up! This week, it's a special link up featuring basket quilts--finished or not. I thought basket quilts would be a great way to celebrate May, so help me out and share your basket quilts with us.

Here's my Basket of Blooms quilt from last year's September Island Batik challenge.

To encourage participation in this special Wednesday Wait Loss, I'm having a giveaway! You'll get one chance to win one Island Batik Stash Builder Roll for every quilt you link up--two for every basket quilt! If you don't have any basket quilts to share, you can share whatever you're working on. I'll announce the winner next week on Wednesday.

A Stash Builder Roll by the way, is a roll of coordinated 2-1/2" x WOF strips. Use them in your next jelly roll project!

Remember, if you need help linking up, click here for detailed step by steps.
