Welcome to Wednesday Wait Loss! Share your works in progress and recent quilt finishes with us! We'd love to see what you're working on!
Last week the skies cleared and I finally got some good shots of Wicked Envy. If you missed that post, here it is.
My pattern Cherry Churn Dash was currently featured in the newest Keepsake catalog. It's an exclusive so you can find it there.
Cherry Churn Dash is just one of the patterns I designed for RJR's Sugar Berry collection. Berry Picnic and Picnic Under the Stars are available in my shop. You can also use the code NEWPAT18 to receive 20% off Berry Picnic and Picnic Under the Stars this week only!
I also wrote five patterns for RJR--one was mine, and four were for other designers. I've got two more patterns (my designs) to write this week, so yeah, call me busy! <grin>
Well, that's what I've been up to! Let's see who made this week's feature.
There were so many great projects it was hard to choose just one so instead, I picked three very special ones to share.
First up is Yanicka @ Finding Myself as an Artist. I love her blog because I love art quilts even though I don't make them very often. Here are a few of the treats you'll see if you jump over to her blog.
Next up is Jen @ De Jong Dream House. Jen's been sharing her journey here on Wednesday Wait Loss, as she made blocks for a very special memory quilt for her grandmother. Visit her blog to see the quilts (yes, quilts plural) she made and to read the story behind each block. I dare you not to fall in love with Jen's amazing grandma!
Finally, you probably heard someone screaming in delight last week, and it was Turid @ Den Syende Himmel, who finished the most amazing hexie quilt I've ever seen. Visit her blog to learn more about it.
Congratulations Yanicka, Jen, and Turid! Thank you so much for sharing your quilts with us. Here's an I Was Featured badge for your blogs.
Before you link up, I'd like to remind you to start gathering your basket quilts for a special Wednesday Wait Loss in May (May 16th)! I thought it'd be cute to celebrate each month with a special link up, and for may I picked May baskets. <grin> To help you prepare for these special linkups, you'll find a list of the ones for this year at the top of my sidebar.
Time to link up! Remember, if you need help linking up, click here for detailed step by steps.
