Wednesday Wait Loss 62

Welcome to Wednesday Wait Loss! Here, you'll find encouragement to get those pesky works in progress off your To-Do list!

I finished Wicked Envy and I'm getting tired of waiting for the snow and the rain and yes, the flooding to subside for me to get my glamor shots. We have had some very nice days in-between all the yech, but wouldn't you know that's when I've been working at the shop? I'm beginning to think this quilt is casting a spell! <grin>

I got some more Shamrock blocks from my bee mates in Bee Inspired. This time, the blocks were from Jen @ A Dream and a Stitch. I love getting these blocks in the mail! It's like having a birthday every day.

Look at how many I have so far! Wow, I have wonderful friends!

I also wrote up a recap of my March goals and then posted my April To-Do list.

I also managed to squeeze in my birthday although it wasn't much of a party since I worked all day. My dh made a scrumptious dinner though and the best lemon poppy-seed cake on the planet. Yum!

He dressed it up with some daffodils rescued from

My daughter painted a portrait of the two of us on her tablet. This photo was from her senior year in high school. We spent a few days here and there during the year taking photos, rather than go to a studio. We had fun, and since my brother is a professional photographer, the results were amazing!

Well, that's what I've been up to! I hope you've set some goals and have whittled down your To-Do list!

Let's see who made this week's feature.

Wednesday Wait Loss

This week I want to feature my friend Alice. Alice is not a blogger, so she uploaded her photo from her computer. Last week Alice shared a lovely quilt she calls Sainte Chapels.

Congratulations Alice! I so love your quilt! Here's an I Was Featured badge you can print out.
