Welcome to Wednesday Wait Loss and Happy Easter to you! For this week's link up, I invite you to share quilty Easter projects--think bunnies, candy, eggs, baskets, tulips, daffodils, spring colors and so on.
This week I finished Wicked Envy but the weather continues to be plum awful. First we had record-breaking snow, then two days of rain. The wet conditions outside and the dim light inside has made it hard for me to get any good photos but I promise to share it soon.
I'm currently quilting my Island Batik March challenge project and it will soon be ready to share as well. In the meantime, let me show you the gorgeous blocks I got in the mail from my bee mates in Bee Inspired.
Aren't they wonderful? Velda @ Freckled Fox Quiltery sent these lovelies.
And Emily @ The Darling Dogwood sent these beauties.
Velda and Emily made me these blocks because I'm Hive Queen for March. For my bee block, I asked everyone to make me shamrock blocks for my Irish Eyes quilt. Because they are small blocks, I asked everyone to make more than one if they could. Here's how I plan on using them.
I'll be getting more blocks as my bee mates finish them. I can't wait to see all the lovely green shamrocks!
Well, that's what I've been up to! Let's see who made this week's feature.
This week I want to feature Deana @ Daughters of Dorinda. Deana shared three projects last week: Justin's medallion quilt, a sliced quilt, and quilt she made in a family round robin.
Deana also shared a quilt her niece made, and described a game of Eye Spy they played in a quilt store.
Congratulations Deana! Here's an I Was Featured badge for your blog.
Time to link up! This week, the theme is Easter. You can link up new or old projects--done, almost done, or barely started! If you don't have anything at all to link up that fits the bill, link up something Spring-y!
