Today is National and Worldwide Quilting Day--and perhaps more importantly to me since I'm Irish--St. Patrick's Day!
So I say, "Happy Everything!"
Today I am working at the shop where we are having a huge fat quarter sale. We expect to be very busy, and I'm glad because I like being busy. After I get off work I might quilt up a project that's been waiting for the quilting. So that's how I expect to celebrate National Quilting Day and Worldwide Quilting Day.
For dinner, I might drop by a local pub and pick up some fish and chips, or maybe some Irish Stew. I might chase it all with one of my favorite beers--Smithwick's. That's how I'll celebrate my Irish heritage and St. Patrick's Day.
And of course I'll be wearing green all day!
So how will you celebrate today?
I hope you'll link up to my special "all things green" link up! You can link up an old project or a new one, a finished quilt or one that's just underway. If you don't have anything green, try orange or white (the Irish colors), or well, anything you like that's happy and celebratory! Click here to visit the link up. Click the Wednesday Wait Loss tab above to see step by step how to link up.
