Wednesday Wait Loss 98

Welcome to Wednesday Wait Loss. I can’t wait to see what you’ve been working on!

First let me tell you what I've been up to

This whole week (well, month actually) it’s been nose to the grindstone for me as I’ve worked to finish three quilts for the Island Batik Spring Market booth and traveling trunk show. I’m happy to report that I’ve gotten two of the tops done, and one is even back from the quilter! I still need to trim, bind, and add a hanging sleeve and label to it, but it’s quilted!

The last quilt is underway and the top is almost done. I’ve got a simple quilting plan so I’m hoping to have it done soon. You can read about my progress on the quilts here.

Well that was my week.

Before we find out what you did this week, let’s take a look at who made this week’s feature.

Let's see who made this week's feature

First up is Melva @ Melva Loves Scraps, who shared the adorable Bunny Patch quilt she made for her new granddaughter.

Please visit Melva’s blog and leave her some encouragement. She made this adorable Christmas mug rug for a blog hop and she needs encouragement to create the tutorial. And to make sugar cookies. <grin> (Read her post to find out why.)

Next is April @ Janda Bend Quilts, who is back with her Pieceful Sunday link up. April shared her new Tremors block. Love those sloshing tumblers!

Finally, there is Sue @ SevenOaks Street Quilts, who shared her Kiss-Cross quilt. She’d forgotten about it for a while but I’m so glad she found it again and shared it with us!

Congratulations ladies! Here's an I Was Featured badge for your blogs or to simply print out and wear with pride! Thank you for supporting my blog!

Today is our special Holiday link up!

This week on Wednesday Wait Loss, we’re celebrating holiday (Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa) quilts.

I celebrate Christmas, and to me, it’s a time for family and friends, bright lights, a fire in the hearth, and of course lots of cookies! <grin>

No matter what you celebrate, I’d love to hear what makes this time special to you! I hope you can take a few moments this week and share your holiday quilts and stories with us. In return, you’ll get a chance to win these three fat quarters!

Because of cost, my fabric giveaways are normally open to US residents only. In the spirit of Christmas however, I’m opening this one up to everyone. You’ll get one chance to win for each linkup, and two chances if you link up a holiday quilt.

Do you like these special link ups? Let me know in the comments

I’m thinking about continuing this next year, but shaking it up a bit. Please let me know the types of quilts you’d like to see featured each month.

To get you in the mood, here are some holiday quilts
