As usual, I have too many goals for a single month! This month I think I’ll try to whittle my list to something more realistic.
Make my bee blocks for Bee Inspired. We’re gearing up for next year and this year’s queens deserve their blocks. Karen @ Tun-Na Quilts, Travels, and Eats wants a Wanta Fanta block in oranges. Irene @ Patchwork and Pastry wants a skinny log cabin block in white. Janice @ Color Creating and Quilting wants a house block. Kate @ Smiles From Kate wants a simple block she designed herself.
Make a quilt for the Island Batik challenge for November. The challenge for Island Batik Ambassadors for November is to make a quilt with log cabins. I’ve got several ideas swirling around my head…gotta wait for one to gel!
Write up a new pattern for Timeless Treasures. One of my designs was selected for a free download pattern and I need to get that done soon. The fabrics will be arriving in stores soon.
Write up a new pattern for a Timeless Treasures collection. Another pattern was picked up by Hancock’s of Paducah for a collection premiering in January so I need to get this written and tested soon.
Add the applique to my Fall into a Quilt Along quilt The quilt along is over, and I’ve shown off final quilt top. It’s missing the applique however, and I’d like to get that added by the deadline for our final giveaway, which is November 13th.
Create three new quilts for Island Batik. Three of my designs will appear in the Spring/Summer 2019 catalog, so I need to make three quilts for their Spring Market booth and a traveling trunk show by December. The quilt making comes first, then the patterning. I’ve got to work fast because the quilts are due on January 2nd.
It’s a long list again and I’ll mostly be focused on those three quilts. Still I’m hopeful I’ll get everything done!
