October Goals: Recap

October’s gone and it’s time to recap how I did on my goals. Let’s take a look.

  • Quilt samples for an upcoming workshop. I didn’t get to my Peppermint Twist and Water Vortex table runners either. Sigh. I’m not doing so hot on my goals!

  • Make a quilt for the Island Batik challenge for October. The challenge for Island Batik Ambassadors for October was to make a quilt using paper piecing. Here it is, Fall Romance Too! You can read all about it here.

  • Write up a few new patterns for quilts I've designed. I'm being featured at Always in Stitches in October (the shop where I work) and so I wanted to write up some new patterns for my quilts. Here they are—Berry Cross and Peppermint Twist. You can purchase the patterns in my shop.

  • Make more blocks for my Happy Go Lucky quilt. I didn’t get these done either. Sigh. What have I been doing?

  • Write two new patterns for Timeless Treasures. Two of my designs were selected for free download patterns for upcoming Timeless Treasures fabric collections, and one of them is done with the other close behind. The fabrics aren’t officially released yet, but I’ll share these patterns with you when I can.

  • Write five new patterns for Island Batik. Two patterns were selected for the Spring/Summer 2019 catalog, with the collections to be released in January. I’ve got these done but can’t show them to you just yet.

I have three patterns to do for the Fall/Winter 2019 catalog, and three quilts to make by December. The quilt making comes first, and the fabrics have just arrived so I haven’t made much progress other than to create a list of what needs to be cut.

So how did I do? Let’s see. I had 11 things to do, and I got only five done. That’s 45%. Hope I do better next month. Come back on Monday to see what my goals are for November!
