Welcome to Wednesday Wait Loss (even though it’s Thursday <grin>)!
I can’t wait to see what you’ve been working on!
First let me tell you what I've been up to
Last week I officially released another new pattern. Meet Peppermint Twist! Click here to visit my store and purchase Peppermint Twist.
I also completed October’s Island Batik challenge, which was paper piecing. Here’s my quilt—Fall Romance Too. Click here to read all about it!
Well, that was my week.
Before we find out what you did this week, let’s take a look at who made this week’s feature.
Let's see who made this week's feature
Two weeks ago I had a special Halloween link up. Brenda @ Songbird Designs missed the linkup but shared this awesome Halloween quilt last week. Isn’t it too cute?
Brenda’s participating in the Peek a Who? Blog Hop and you simply must visit her blog to learn how you can see all the wonderful Halloween quilts!
Next up is Shasta @ High Road Quilter, who shared a special house warming quilt. I love the charms she added!
Chris @ Chris Knits Sews shared this awesome Mini Dashing quilt.
Vicki @ Vicki’s Crafts and Quilting shared her snowmen that she’s making for a show. She also talked about her snowman table runner, which I just love. Look at that quilting!
Congratulations ladies! Here's an I Was Featured badge for your blogs or to simply print out and wear with pride! Thank you for supporting my blog!
Our next special link up is November 21st
Our next special Wednesday Wait Loss is November 21st and we’ll be celebrating Thanksgiving and harvest quilts. Thanksgiving is celebrated here in the states, and to us it is a celebration of food and family, featuring turkeys, corn, bread stuffing, cranberries, pumpkins and other foods harvested in the fall. We also celebrate the American Indian at Thanksgiving, without who’s help the first pioneers would never have made it through those difficult first winters in a new land. Most cultures celebrate harvest time with some kind of festival, and I’d love to hear stories about that as well!
As usual, if you link up a quilt that somehow reminds you of Thanksgiving or harvest time, it’ll count as two chances in my giveaway. Other quilts linked up will count as one chance.
Time to link up!
