Sorry gang! Wednesday Wait Loss took a holiday this week, and so it’s a day late. <grin> I hope you had a great Fourth of July! I’ve published two new patterns and so I’ve been busy filling orders. I also got my project done from last week—the June Island Batik challenge.
First up, my two patterns. Glory on the Gridiron features the Gridiron fabric collection by Quilting Treasures, available in quilt stores now. It's super easy to piece since it uses three quilt panels!
Floral Fan features the Delaney fabric collection by Quilting Treasures, also available in your local quilt store now. The pattern has two versions--one for each colorway--so you choose your favorite. Aren't I clever? <wink>
The patterns are available at quilt stores that carry the Gridiron and Delaney fabric collections, and through my store.
Finally, here’s my Island Batik challenge quilt. June’s challenge was curves. You can read more about the quilt here.
To thank you for hanging in there and for coming back on a Thursday instead of Wednesday to link up this week, I'm having a giveaway! The lucky winner will receive four fat quarters from the Isadora collection by Windham Fabrics. You'll get one chance for every WIP or finished quilt you link up this week, and the next two weeks (for a maximum of three chances per week). I'll announce a winner on July 26th.
Time for our weekly feature!
This week I want to feature Mel, who is new to Wednesday Wait Loss. Mel linked up a denim quilt last week. Though she struggled a bit with its weight, the quilt turned out wonderfully. Mel’s blog is awesome and definitely worth a look-see.
Congratulations Mel! Grab an “I Was Featured” button for your blog.
