On Wednesday, I presented a trunk show at the Spring Valley Quilt Guild in Pendleton, Indiana. Everyone was so nice, and there were many friendly faces in the audience. I want to especially thank Linda and her crew for the warm reception!
The quilters in this guild are super talented, based on the quilt I saw hanging in the library where they meet. It really tells a story! Look at the sheer variety of blocks that represent Indiana in some way, and the original way they blended the blocks with photos of the surrounding area. Lovely!
My husband Scott and my daughter Katerina came too. Scott has an artist’s eye and Katerina is a quilter so they have always provided me with much needed support (along with photo taking and quilt holding when needed <grin>).
I love speaking at guilds because I get to see what other quilters are in to right now. My favorite part of any guild meeting is Show and Tell. Although the one that night was short, it was still fun to see everyone's recent projects.
Thank you Spring Valley Quilt Guild for inviting me to come visit. It was wonderful!
