This is Week 1 of the New Quilt Bloggers Hop, and I’m celebrating with a new post each day this week.
Yesterday I told you a lot about myself, including the fact that I work closely with several fabric manufacturers. I’ve been editing patterns for some time now, but recently I got the privilege of creating several patterns for new fabric collections. It’s been hard to keep this a secret until the fabric collections were released, but I’m happy to share two new patterns with you!
First up is Fly Away Home, a lap sized quilt that features the Painted Wings collection from Windham Fabrics. The pattern will be available for free download here and on Windham’s website once the fabrics are available, sometime this month. Be sure to ask your local quilt shop about Painted Wings!
The pattern will be available for free download here and on RJR Fabrics’ website soon. The fabrics are already available and are being sold in kits with the pattern.
I have several other patterns in the works for various fabric companies that will be available throughout the year as the featured fabrics become available. I can’t wait to share them with you!
So...continuing with my plan for the week: Tomorrow is my weekly linky party—Wednesday Wait Loss. Be sure to come back and link up a Work In Progress. We have a wonderful group that’s fast to offer the encouragement you need to get things done. And who knows? You might just win three lovely fat quarters from the Twilight collection by Windham Fabrics!
Oh! I almost forgot. Skip over to last week's Wednesday Wait Loss to vote for your favorite projects. We vote by clicking on the hearts that appear on each picture. Each vote is like giving a little nod of encouragement to that quilter. So vote as much as you like, up to six votes of love and encouragement. Click here to view the gallery of projects. Remember, just click the hearts!
See you tomorrow! If you want to be sure you don't miss any updates to my blog, you can follow me on Bloglovin, by email, through Facebook, and Instagram. I’ve also got a special group on Facebook just for quilty friends like you! You'll find the many ways you can follow me at the top of my sidebar.
