Furry Fridays Week 4

Welcome back to Furry Friday! This week’s edition is brought to you by Aurifil. If you purchase thier special collection of threads, you’ll be helping rescue animals!

In case you’re new here, each week during Furry Friday I present a couple of furry babies just hoping for a fur-ever home.

My newest rescue, Zora, seems to be adjusting well to her new home. That’s probably an understatement as she is quickly becoming the Queen of the house and we her loyal subjects. Here she is helping me with work. <wink>

Now let me introduce our two stars for this week. First up is Gracey. Gracey is cutest little Shepherd mix puppy. Just try resisting those eyes! Go ahead and try. I triple dog dare you. <grin>

Our Shamrock was a Shephard mix and she was the sweetest dog ever so I highly recommend the breed. If you want to meet Gracey in person, she's at the Humane Society in Knoxville, Tennessee. Let's give her the home she deserves!

Next up is Pharah. Just from her photo you can tell Pharah is a queen! There's not a lot of info given on her, but she is a young DSH, black with the cutest white markings. They call her coloring "tuxedo," and doesn't that fit perfectly for such an elegant female? Pharah is awaiting her new owner at the Okefenokee Humane Society in Waycross, Georgia. Hopefully that's you? Let's give these wonderful rescues a permanent home--help us spread the word!

If you can't add a new pet to your home just now, please consider helping the TQPM Small Kennel Quilt team to provide comfort to rescue cats and dogs by making kennel quilts like these, which I made with Island Batiks.

Come back next Friday for more Furry Friday rescues. Here are the other Island Ambassadors who are hosting Furry Friday this week.
