I have a large stash. A stash that lets me design and play and have fun with quilting. Still, there are holes. How does that happen? I go looking for a particular red or a certain yellow, and can’t quite find it.
Sometimes though a fabric acquisition has nothing to do with adding a particular color to my stash. It’s about love. Fabric love.
Here are some recent additions to my stash. I hope you love them. <wink>
I saw this lovely collection while on retreat and had to get it. I was sure I had written down the name, and this is one of those fabrics where they don’t print the name on the selvage. Drat! The name might Kaleidoscope or something similar, but if any of you recognize it, please let me know!
I love me a good batik, especially when they are on sale. Aren’t these beautiful?
I’m also very fond of lime, as you can see. I found this lime batik (gotta love that!) and a bunch of lime print fat quarters from the Wrens & Friends collection by Gina Martin for Moda.
Love brights, love bling! This beauty caught my eye with its light touches of gold and it said, “Take me home please!” It’s from the Basic Glitter collection by Laurel Burch for Clothworks.
I love, love the Bee Creative collection by Deb Strain for Moda, and in fact, I’ve already used some of it to make a cute quilt block zippered pouch.
Now you know I love brights, but I also love neutrals. And these two fabrics, from Sound of the Woods II by Avery Tillmon for Robert Kaufman Fabrics, are to die for!
